My externship sites have included the Vision Institute of Canada, an institution that is focused on primary care and pediatrics, and the John Kenyon eye center in Louisville Kentucky, a premier ophthalmology practice that was one of the first to do refractive eye surgery in the United States.ĭuring my academic career, I was involved with VOSH, Volunteer Optometric Service for Humanity, where we provided vision care to indigent people in Mexico and as an officer in the American Optometric Students Association at the local level. My post graduate training is a Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University, class of 2000. My educational background consists of an undergraduate Honors specialist degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry and Economics from the University of Toronto in 1995 As technology and the world around us changes, I have to keep up-to-date, because I have to provide the best care possible for your eyes. As a Doctor of Optometry, part of my commitment to my patients is ongoing professional education.
